15. Using Additional Features
15.1. Updating Firmware
New versions of the Picture Porter 35 firmware will be periodically
released with improved features to further enhance your user
experience. Any new updates will be available for download from
the Digital Foci website support page.
Please make sure to register your Picture Porter 35 so that you will
receive product support emails regarding new firmware releases
and other important product information.
To register your product, go to: www.digitalfoci.com/registration
Alternatively, periodically check the support page on the Digital Foci
website (www.digitalfoci.com/support
) for the latest firmware
update.
15.2. Checking Remaining Hard Drive Space
You can check the total and remaining hard drive capacity on
Picture Porter 35 from the Home Screen. Navigate to the HD1
icon, press MENU, and select Display Info
.
Picture Porter 35 will display the total capacity, used capacity, and
available capacity of the hard drive.
You can also check hard drive space by going to Setup
and view
Technical Information.
Note
: Based on variations of how available capacity is calculated
by different file systems, the available hard drive storage space is
approximately 233 GB for the 250GB Picture Porter 35, and
approximately 466 GB for the 500GB Picture Porter 35.
