14.1.2. Playing Music through Stereo System
You can connect Picture Porter 35 to a stereo or pair of powered
external speakers to improve the quality of the audio being
played.
1. Connect the appropriate end of the audio cable to the A/V
output jack at the top of Picture Porter 35.
2. For powered external speakers, the audio from the Picture
Porter 35 will play through the connected speakers.
For a stereo system, connect the RCA audio connectors
(colored white and red) to the audio input ports on the stereo
system.
The audio output will be directed through the connected device.
Note
: When Picture Porter 35 is connected to a stereo system or
powered external speakers, use both sets of volume controls to
find the most suitable volume setting.
14.2. Using Picture Porter 35 with Another Picture Porter 35
You can connect another Picture Porter 35 to your Picture Porter
35 by using the USB-OTG cable and the USB cable. With the
Target Picture Porter 35 connected, the Main Picture Porter 35 will
be able to view and access the hard drive of the Target Picture
Porter 35 as a USB device. The Target Picture Porter 35 will be in
USB mode and cannot be operated.
1. Turn on the Main Picture Porter 35.
2. Connect the USB-OTG cable to the Main Picture Porter 35.
3. Connect the USB cable to the USB-OTG cable.
4. Connect the free end of the USB-OTG cable to the Target
Picture Porter 35.
5. Turn on the Target Picture Porter 35.
Note
: To ensure stable power supply, it is recommended to have
both Picture Porter 35 devices connected to AC power.
After the Target Picture Porter 35 starts up, it will show the USB
connection screen. The Main Picture Porter 35 will display on the
Home Screen a USB icon for the Target Picture Porter 35 hard
drive.
