6.7. Rotating Photos
Photos on Picture Porter 35 will be displayed according to the
photo orientation information in the EXIF data captured with the
photo – if Auto-rotate by EXIF
is set to On in the Setup options.
Most digital SLR cameras will have this photo orientation
information. Photos taken with portrait orientation will be
automatically rotated when displayed. If this information is not
captured, the photo will be displayed in its original orientation.
While the photo is displayed in the slideshow, you can manually
rotate the photo. To rotate the photo, press MENU and select
Rotate
. The photo will be rotated 90 degrees clockwise.
When the slideshow transitions to the next photo, the rotation will
be cancelled and the photo will return to its original display
orientation the next time it is displayed.
Note
: Rotating the photo will only change its display on the
Picture Porter 35 screen and will not alter your original photo file.
