Most digital cameras will capture photos in a 4:3 aspect ratio. The aspect
ratio determines the width and height of the photo. The screen on the
Picture Porter 35 is 4:3 and will display 4:3 photos completely on the full
screen. Other aspect ratios will show in a letterbox under Fit Screen
.
2
Most digital SLR cameras will record the orientation information in the
photo EXIF data. Photos taken in portrait will be auto-rotated on the display.
If this information is not available, the photo display in its original orientation.

IPCT is a metadata standard used by some photographers to include
identifying and descriptive information with each photo. To learn more about
IPTC, visit the IPTC website at www.iptc.org
.

EXIF information is additional information (metadata) associated with each
photo taken by your digital camera. It identifies information such as digital
camera model, camera settings, exposure, resolution, date, and time.
