Turning Off Your Workstation
If your worksystem software has been installed, follow the
instructions that came with that software to shut it down.
If your workstation is on a power strip
Turn off the power strip by pressing the raised portion of its
on/off switch.
If your workstation is not on a power strip
1. Turn off any communication device by following the
instructions that came with it.
2. Turn off each expansion box you have by pressing the 0 on
the on/off switch on the box.
3. Turn off the system unit by pressing the 0 on the on/off
switch on the back of the unit.
4. Turn off the monitor.
If your monitor receives its power through the system
unit, the monitor turns off when you turn off the
system unit.
If your monitor receives its power from a wall outlet,
press the 0 on the on/off switch on the front of the 19-
inch VRT19 color monitor, the 19-inch VR262 gray-scale
monitor, or the 16-inch VR297 color monitor; press and
release the on/off switch on the front of the 19-inch
VR299 monitor.
