5.3.4 Restoring Default Settings
Use
Restore Default Settings
to restore SCSI device settings to their default
states. To restore the default settings, do these steps:
1. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to
Configuration Settings
on the
Fast!Util
main menu and press the
Enter
key. The
Configuration Settings
menu appears as shown in Figure 5

Restore Default Settings
option
on the
Configuration Settings
menu and press the
Enter
key. The utility
displays the message:
Checking SCSI ID #
.
3. When the utility finishes polling the SCSI IDs, it displays a list of SCSI
device settings, similar to the list shown in Figure 5

5.4 Scanning SCSI Bus
Use the
Scan SCSI Bus
option to determine what devices exist on the SCSI bus.
To Scan the SCSI bus, follow these steps:
1. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to
Scan SCSI Bus
option on the
Fast!Util
main menu and press the
Enter
key.
The utility displays the message:
Checking SCSI ID #
.
2. When the utility finishes polling the SCSI IDs, it displays a list of SCSI
devices at each of the SCSI IDs.
