5.3.3 Auto–configuring SCSI Devices
Use
Auto–configure SCSI Device
to optimize SCSI device settings. The auto–
configure option causes the KZPBA-CA to scan the devices on the SCSI bus and
set options for the devices based on each device’s capabilities. To auto–configure
SCSI devices, follow these steps:
1. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to
Configuration Settings
on the
Fast!Util
main menu and press the
Enter
key. The
Configuration Settings
menu appears as shown in Figure 5
2.
2. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the
Autoconfigure SCSI Devices
option on the
Configuration Settings
menu and press the
Enter
key. The
utility displays the message:
Checking SCSI ID #
