NOTE
The colored stripe on one side of the ribbon cable
must be aligned with pin 1 on the host adapter
board. For all remaining connections on the SCSI
bus, make sure that the colored stripe edge of the
ribbon cable aligns with pin 1 on the SCSI device
connector. Pin 1 orientation is required so that all
the SCSI devices will work properly.
2. Insert the last connector on the ribbon cable into the connector on the
internal SCSI device on the shelf (see Figure 3–5).

3. To connect a second internal SCSI device, plug the middle ribbon cable
connector into the connector on the second internal device (see Figure 3–6)
maintaining the pin orientation.
