UltraSCSI Dual BA356 Configuration
This section explains how to configure two StorageWorks BA356 UltraSCSI
Expansion Enclosures connected through the SCSI bus.
Configuring the Shared Servers/Storage Enclosure SCSI
Bus Interconnect
The components of the cluster are connected through the SCSI bus. The
recommended configuration for two BA356-KH StorageWorks Wide Expansion
Enclosures is shown below. Figure 2 shows the storage enclosures connected at
each end of the shared differential SCSI bus.
NOTES:
1. Enclosure #1/SCSI ID6 may only be used for a redundant power supply.
2. Enclosure #2/SCSI ID14 may be used for a redundant power supply or a disk drive.
