Step 2. Connect the Reset Cable to the Remote Server
Connect the reset cable to the F connector on the controller (Figure 3).
Connect the other end of the reset cable to the server’s main logic board
connector according to the server reset situation. (Refer to the server
User’s Guide for more information.)
Refer to the server’s User’s Guide for information on setting the MLB jumper
or switch for “RSM installed”.
NOTE:
If the MLB “RSM installed” or "DSM installed"
jumper or switch is set and there is no power to the RSM
controller, or an RSM controller is not installed, the server will
not power up.
