What information does the

Service Center need?

Note the following:

• Serial and model numbers from the back of the

printer.

• Serial and model numbers of the host system, if

available.

• Page count. (Open the front cover and check

the maintenance counter.)

• What the printer was doing when it failed.

• Messages on the operator panel.

• Strange noises.

If possible, stay by the printer/host system;

Customer Services may ask you to recreate the

problem.
