2.2 Listing Your Print Jobs
VMS:
To list your print jobs that are printing or pending, issue the following
command:
SHOW ENTRY
The following information is displayed:
Jobname Username Entry Blocks Status
------- -------- ----- ------ ------
NEW USER1 937 154 Printing
On Printer queue LPS32$POST
ULTRIX:
To list your print jobs that are printing or pending on a specific print queue,
issue the lpq command followed by your user name and the queue name. For
example:
lpq user1 post
The following information is displayed:
Rank Owner Job Files Total Size
Active Root 70 .login 22 bytes

information about the job that is printing.
