6. Set the power switch OFF, disconnect the power cable, remove the
SMMC board, set jumper J7/J8 to the J7 (normal) position, and
replace the SMMC board.
7. Run the ASCII print test. If the print quality is still unsatisfactory,
proceed to Section 7.5. If the print quality is satisfactory, replace
the logic board retainer, replace the left side panel, and return the
printer to service.
