Line Spacing n/72 Inch (Executes)

Purpose Executes line spacing as set by ESC A.
Discussion All NL or LF commands move the paper n/72–inch line spacing until a
new line spacing is selected or power is recycled. If a distance has not
been selected by ESC A, the default setting, 1/6–inch, is used. All
control codes that define vertical distance expressed in inches are stored
internally in units of paper drive steps.
A line spacing command can occur at any place in the datastream and is
acted upon immediately. See “Line Spacing n/72 Inch (Storage),” page 8–43
for storage information.
Example The following example illustrates 1/6–inch line spacing and assumes that
a distance has not been set by ESC A.
