5–26 Replacement Procedures
Fan Assembly, Card Cage (Figure 5–10 )
Removal
1. Prepare the printer for maintenance (page 5–3).
2. Open the printer cover.
3. Remove the paper guide assembly (page 5–42).
4. Remove the power supply PCBA (page 5–50).
5. Remove the nut (1) and ground wire (2).
6. Remove four screws (3).
7. Disconnect the fan cable connector (4).
8. Remove the card cage fan assembly (5) and fan guard (6) from the card
cage (7).
Installation
1. Connect the fan cable connector (4).
2. Position the card cage fan assembly (5) and fan guard (6) in the card
cage (7).
3. Install four screws (3).
4. Install the ground wire (2) and nut (1).
5. Install the power supply PCBA (page 5–50).
6. Install the paper guide assembly (page 5–42).
7. Return the printer to normal operation (page 5–80).
