• Translate MIPS executables other than ULTRIX and DIGITAL UNIX

• Translate big endian MIPS programs.
• Provide precise exception behavior.
• Emulate MIPS instruction atomicity.
• Translate MIPS II or MIPS III programs (no R4000 processor support).
• Enable translated programs to use the DIGITAL UNIX shared libraries.
