1.5.3 If You Have Difficulties Printing a File
The LA75 Plus configuration is factory set for use with Digital’s computer
systems. If you have difficulties printing your files correctly, you may need to
change the printer’s configuration. Some suggestions follow.
1 Check that the printer features match the host computer configuration, in
particular, the communication protocol. If the printer is connected to the
serial port, check the printer’s baud rate, and data bits and parity. See
Section 7.4 in Chapter 7 for information on these features. Also check your
computer system’s documentation.
2 If you have to change the printer’s configuration to match that of the host
computer, see Chapter 5.
3 If your printer still does not print your files correctly, see Section 6.2 in
Chapter 6.
4 If you are not sure of how to correct the problem, contact your Digital sales
representative.
