6. The Insert Disk dialogue box will appear. In the command line, type in the
path where the driver is located. For example, A:\Card\network\driver.inf
Click on the [OK] button.
7. The Windows NT Setup dialogue box will appear. The command line should
read C:\WinNT\options\i386 Click on the [Continue] button.
8. At the Network Card dialogue box, locate the Network’s IRQ setting. By
default, the Network will be assigned IRQ 5. Change this to IRQ 11. Your
notebook’s audio uses IRQ 5. If you do not change the Network IRQ to IRQ
11, you will not have any system sound when using the network. Ensure that
the other settings are correct and click on the [OK] button.
9. At the TCP/IP Setup dialogue box, you are asked if you wish to enable DHCP.
Whether or not to enable DHCP depends upon your network configuration. See
your Network Administrator for details.
10. At the Show Bindings for: dialogue box click on the [Next] button.
11. Click on the [Next] button again to restart the Network. If you are using
Domain style network, enter the Domain name. If you are using a WorkGroup,
enter the WorkGroup name and click on the [Next] button.
12. Click on the [Finish] button. At the Network Settings Change dialogue box
click on the [Yes] button to restart the computer.
