Power and Your Computer

Your Digital notebook computer can be powered by:

• Battery

• International AC Adapter

If the notebook is operating on AC power and a battery pack (main battery, secondary

battery, or both) is in the notebook, the battery(ies) will continue to charge until full.

Your notebook’s main battery is a either an Enhanced Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH)

Smart Battery or a Lithium Ion (LiIon) Smart Battery. To get the most out of your

notebook computer and its battery, you need to:

• Know how to use and care for the Battery Pack

• Understand the Power Management features of the computer and how to configure

them
