Software Title Software Description
Puma TranXit Puma TranXit allows multiple modes of file transfers, such
as parallel port or infrared file transfers.
Digital ClientWorks DMI-based technology provides powerful tools to locally
and remotely manage clients. It is Microsoft SMS and
SNMP compliant. The package integrates into workgroup
and enterprise level manageable applications.
ESS Audio Rack 32 Through an attractively presented user-interface,
resembling a home stereo unit, ESS Audio Rack 32 allows
you to playback, record, mix and edit sound files.
Installing Software
The software applications are located on your Digital System CD. Insert the CD into the
notebook’s CD-ROM drive. Click on system Software, then select your operating system,
the preferred language, and click on the applications you wish to install. The automated
install program chooses the best location for the each of the software pieces to reside on
your hard drive and installs them.
Installing User Documentation
Your HiNote VP 500 Series User’s Guide is stored in Portable Document File (.PDF)
format on the Digital System CD in the Documentation directory. It’s file name is
VP500.PDF. Download this file to your hard drive and view it on-line. No more weighing
down your luggage with hard copy information since all HiNote VP 500 Series User
information is available right on your system, to be accessed whenever and wherever you
need it.
PDF files can be viewed in Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat
Reader software installed on your notebook, you can download it as free shareware from
the Adobe web site at www.Adobe.com.
