battery power.
Battery Pack is drained.

Charge the Battery Pack.
Replace the Battery Pack.
Press the Reset Button located under the
keyboard and next to the hard drive.
Contact your DIGITAL service representative.
System does
not start when
the notebook
computer is
turned on
while
connected to
an external
power source.
AC Adapter is not
connected properly.
No power from the
external power source,
such as a wall outlet.
Main logic board failure.
Make sure the adapter is properly connected to
the notebook computer and to its power source.
Check the external power source by connecting
another device to it.
Press the Reset Button located under the
keyboard and next to the hard drive.
Contact your DIGITAL service representative.
Application
software or
files failing to
load with an
out of memory
error message.
Insufficient notebook
computer memory.
Main logic board failure.
Close open applications.
Install an optional memory module.

Remove memory module and reinstall (Figure
6-1, 6-2). Power off the notebook before
removing the memory door.

located in the DIGITAL Windows Enterprise
Web site.
