Installing the SWXCR-EB 3-Channel
RAID Controller
Introduction
This chapter describes the major steps for installing the SWXCR-EB 3-channel
controller:
•
Installing the RAID controller in the host system
•
Installing the storage pedestals and disk drives, and connecting the cables
Installing the 3-Channel RAID Controller

To avoid static damage, follow adequate antistatic procedures when you
handle the RAID controller.
To install the RAID controller, you follow these steps.
1. Refer to your host system manual for general instructions on installing
adapters.
2. Unpack the RAID controller.
