7. Remove the terminator and check that the SHELF_OK jumper is installed as
shown in Figure 3-5. Replace the terminator.

The SHELF_OK jumper allows the fault signals from the storage pedestal
to be fed back to the RAID controller. If your jumper/terminator has
SHELF_OK jumper pins, then a jumper must be installed in the SHELF-
OK position. If this SHELF_OK jumper is missing, insert one or notify
your supplier.
