You can choose to ignore the con-
figuration error and start a new
configuration. This is done by over-
riding the display process by enter-
ing the following:
SWXCRMGR -o
You have the option of quitting from
the utility or saving the new configu-
ration.
CAUTION: If you save this configu-
ration you will lose your data.
Mismatch between
NVRAM & Flash
EEPROM configu-
rations
Power failure oc-
curred before the
configuration data
was updated to
both the NVRAM
and EEPROM.
Faulty NVRAM.
Run the Standalone utilities. Refer
to Chapter 7 to determine which
stored configuration (NVRAN or
EEPROM), is the correct configura-
tion.
Replace the controller.
Unidentified device
found at Chn x Tgt

Drive was inadver-
tently replaced with
new drive.
Failed drive was
replaced with a
new drive during a
system power
down.
Replace identified drive with
original drive.
Start a manual rebuild on the
replacement drive.
Warning: the firm-
ware Flash
EEPROM is reach-
ing the end of its
life. It should be
replaced ASAP
Controller EEPROM
is reaching its pro-
grammability limit.
Back up the configuration to disk-
ette and then replace the controller.
