Additional Security Features
Additional server security features are available as options in the BIOS Setup utility
and through main logic board switch settings.
The BIOS Setup utility includes the following setup options to improve server
security:
•
Sign On Banner

When enabled, allows a custom banner to be displayed
every time you turn your server on.
•
Diskette Access

While enabled, this option prevents the server from
accessing a diskette.
•
Network Server 
Locks the keyboard and mouse to prevent tampering
during network operation. You must enter a supervisor password to unlock
the keyboard and mouse.
•
System BIOS Flash 
When disabled, prevents the server’s BIOS from
being flashed (rewritten).
