AppleTalk Interface Option Kit

Nonmagnetic Phillips screwdriver

LocalTalk compatible cable

NOTE: The AppleTalk board is delivered with DB-9 and DIN-

8 connectors. Contact your Network Administrator or

authorized Apple Dealer for assistance in purchasing the

appropriate cables and connectors.

CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic damage to the

printer option and/or system controller board, follow

the safety precautions outlined in "Electrostatic

Discharge."

STEP 1

TURN THE PRINTER OFF (O) AND UNPLUG THE

POWER CORD.
