Installing the Printer and Drivers 2
Connecting the printer to a workstation
Direct connection to a workstation
1. Turn off the printer. Turn off the host computer.
2. Attach the parallel interface cable to the workstation. Attach the other end to
the printer. Alternatively, attach the serial cable to the workstation's serial
port. Attach the other end to the printer's serial port.
3. Turn on the printer and the computer.
