Fiber Optical Transceivers
The BI-DI (Bi-Directional) uses the WDM technique transceiver. The WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) is
technique for ber-optic cable in which multiple optical signal channels are carried across a single strand of ber at
dierent wavelengths of light. This allows for a multiplication in capacity, in addition to making it possible to perform
bidirectional communications over one strand of ber.
