Specified IP
Address
Also called Static IP Address. Select this if your ISP
has allocated you a fixed IP Address. If this option
is selected, the following data must be entered.
• IP Address
The IP Address allocated by the ISP.
• Network Mask (Not required for PPPoE)
This is also supplied by your ISP. It must be
compatible with the IP Address above.
• Gateway (Not required for PPPoE)
The address of the router or gateway, as
supplied by your ISP.
DNS
Automatically
obtain from
Serve
The DNS (Domain Name Server) address will be
obtained automatically from your ISP's server.
Note that if using a fixed IP address, with no login
(login is set to "None"), then no Server is used, so
this option cannot be used.
Use this DNS
If this option is selected, you must enter the IP
address of the DNS (Domain Name Server) you
wish to use.
