DigiTrak F Series Display (FSD)
General Description
The DigiTrak F Series Display (FSD) is a multifunction
display that can be used with a variety of DCI receivers. It
provides the drill rig operator with information from the
receiver about the depth, orientation, and status of the
transmitter. The FSD remote can be powered through
either a DC cable source or a DCI lithium-ion battery
pack. The unit performs an automatic self-test every time
it is turned on. The antenna provided with the system
must be attached before drilling.
To meet regional requirements and for proper communi-
cation, one of the frequency designations shown on the
remote’s serial number label (see photo to the right) must
match that shown on the receiver. The receiver’s fre-
quency designation is located on the serial number label
inside the receiver’s battery compartment (see “General
Description” discussion in the Receiver section.)
