Upgrade by USB

The easiest and fastest way to update software is via the USB port. If you are going to

perform a software update, the USB method is recommended.

•UserDBsave

Saves current Channel List to a connected USB storage device. You can edit this list on a

PC using the Channel List Editor. The final edited list can be loaded to the receiver using

upgrademode“UserDB”.

8.9 External Memory (symbol: film reel)

A USB memory device must be properly

inserted to use this main menu item.

Channels recorded with encryption can

be decoded and played by inserting the

appropriate CAM and smart card.

Record Manager

Here, recorded shows can be:

• Renamed with the red function key

• Lockedwiththegreenfunctionkey(requirespassword)

• Deleted with the blue function key

The„Lock“and„Delete“functionsarenotapplieduntilyouhaveacknowledgedthecon-

firmation prompt when exiting the menu.

Press the OK button to play the selected recording.
