Camera Memory
Your new Pix Jr. camera can store pictures on either its on-board memory
or, for expanded storage, on an SD Card. The Pix Jr. camera comes with 32
MB, approximately 140 photos, of on-board memory and can use SD Cards
up to 2 GB.
To Insert an SD Card:
1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera. A grown-
up should remove the screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.
2. Remove the battery door and locate the SD Card slot.
3. Insert the card into the slot as shown below.
The card will click into place.
4. Replace the battery door and tighten the screws.
To remove the SD Card, re-open the battery door and press gently on the
exposed edge of the SD Card. You should hear a click, and the card will
spring up slightly. Gently grasp and pull the card out of the slot.
Camera Memory

Mass Storage Mode
If you want to download pictures from your Pix Jr. camera without the
Disney Pix software, you can use the camera in mass storage mode.
Because your camera is a USB Mass Storage Device, your computer will
recognize the camera as an external hard drive.
To use the camera as a mass storage device:
1. Connect the camera to your computer with the provided USB Cable.
2. Go to the Desktop and double-click on My Computer.
3. You will see a list of drives connected to your computer, including the
hard drive, CD drives and other mass storage devices.
4. Double-click on the Pix Jr. Camera in the list. Choose the folder labeled
DCIM and then choose 100 COACH. Your pictures will be located in this
folder.
Taking Pictures With The Camera
Taking pictures with your new Pix Jr. is a great way to share memories
with your friends and family!
Taking pictures is fun and easy!
1. Turn the camera on by pushing any button.
2. Use the Display Screen to locate the subject of your picture.
3. Hold the camera steady!
4. Press the Snapshot button.
Note: Pix Jr. will show the number of pictures you have taken in the upper
right-hand corner of the display.
Adding PhotoFriends
Using the Magic Wand button, you can add PhotoFriends to your pictures.
PhotoFriends are some of your favorite Disney characters and special
props that make your photos even more fun!
To add a PhotoFriend to your picture:
1. Turn the camera on by pressing any button.
2. Press . to turn on the PhotoFriends option.
3. Use or to choose a PhotoFriend.
4. Pose your subject with the PhotoFriend.
5. Press the Snapshot button to take the picture.
Note: PhotoFriends are permanently part of the picture. If you decide you
don’t want to use a PhotoFriend, press the to take a regular picture
instead.
Reviewing your Pictures
To see pictures you have taken, just press the and on either side
of the display screen.
Deleting Pictures
If you take a picture you don’t want to keep, deleting it is easy.
1. Find the photo using and .
2. Press once to delete one picture.
When you see on the screen, press again to conrm.
If you want to delete all the pictures on your camera, press and hold
for three seconds.
When you see on the screen, press again to conrm.
