Like the AlphaSmart 3000,
Neo offers a full size keyboard
and an extraordinary battery
life but adds a 50% larger display and twice as much memory. The large display can
be used to view extra lines of text, or show the text in a larger size, making it easier to
see.
Neo includes AlphaWord Plus, a word processor with
spell check, thesaurus, word and paragraph counts,
instant access to eight file spaces, plus
named files and more. You can also add
new functions through SmartApplets
like beaming for wireless text transfer
between Neos.
Neo also includes three AA batteries;
USB cable; an IrDA port for printing or
sending to IrDA devices; AlphaSmart
Manager software; AlphaWord Plus and
Calculator SmartApplets.
