Selecting records
There are three ways to select groups of records:
1. To select consecutive records, click the first record you want
and press the
SHIFT key as you click the last record.
2. To select non-consecutive records, press the
CTRL key as you
click each record.
3. To select several non-consecutive groups of records, combine
the two methods described above.
Other selection options:
• To deselect an individual record, press the CTRL key while
clicking it.
• To deselect all records, choose Clear Selection from the
Selection menu (ESC).
• To select all records, choose Select All from the Selection
menu (CTRL + A).
• To reduce the contents of the active window to records in
your selection, choose Show Selection from the Selection
menu. Choose Show All to then display all records.
Note In order to reduce the records available in the Info Sheet or
Keyword Views and navigate among only the selected records, use
the Show Selection command before opening the single record
views.
• Choose Invert Selection from the Selection menu (CTRL + I) to
select all records that are not selected and deselect all records
that are selected.
