Use the ImageAXS Preferences dialog box to select alternate editing
applications for image, movie, sound, or 3D files. These programs
open when you choose Edit With Alternate from an ImageAXS
contextual menu (see “Editing Source Files” on page 11-1).
To identify an alternate application for editing source files:
STEP 1 Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
The ImageAXS Preferences dialog box appears.

STEP 2 Click the Source Files tab on the left side of the ImageAXS
Preferences dialog box.
If the tab is pulled out past the others and the name is in
boldface type, it is already selected.
STEP 3 In the box labeled Alternate Editors, click the Set button below
the icon for the file type whose alternate editing application you
want to select.
A standard file dialog box appears.
STEP 4 Select an alternate editing application and click Open.
The name of the application appears to the right of the Set
button.
