To remove keywords:
STEP 1 Select the keyword(s) you wish to remove.
STEP 2 Drag the keyword(s) to the Trash, or select Clear from the Edit
menu.
If you have a Power Macintosh, you can also delete
keywords by pressing the CTRL key as you click any of the
selected keywords, then choosing Delete from the
contextual menu that appears.
COPYING KEYWORDS FROM ANOTHER COLLECTION
To copy keywords from another collection:
STEP 1 Open the Keyword List for the collection with the keywords you
want to copy.
STEP 2 Click to select the keyword(s) you want to copy, then choose
Copy from the Edit menu.
STEP 3 Open the collection to which you want to add the keywords.
The collection from which you copied the keywords closes
automatically when the new collection opens (see
“Overview: What Is a Collection?” on page 3-1 for more
information).
STEP 4 Open the Keyword List for the new collection, then choose
Paste from the Edit menu.
To paste the selection underneath an existing keyword, click
the key symbol next to that keyword, then choose Paste
from the Edit menu.
NOTE
You can also paste keywords from a text file into the Keyword List of a
collection. Use a carriage return (either hard or soft) to separate keywords
in the text file.
SORTING KEYWORDS
To sort all keywords in the Keyword List for a collection in
alphabetical order, choose Sort Keywords from the Keywords menu,
or click the Sort Keywords button on the left side of the Keyword List
window.
Keywords also will be sorted automatically in alphabetical order
whenever you open a collection.
