Importing CSV text formatted data
ImageAXS can import comma separated value (CSV) data,
which allows you to easily move data from other database
applications into ImageAXS. Most database applications are
capable of exporting data in CSV format.
To import CSV data from other applications:
1. In the Thumbnails or Text List View, choose Import

Te x t from the File menu.
2. Select the CSV file you want to import in the Open
dialog box.
Note The CSV formatted data file that you select must have the
same number of fields as the collection into which you are
importing the data, and each field in the data file must be of
the same type as the corresponding field in the collection.
3. Click Open.
Thumbnail placeholders or text listings appear in the active
window during the import process. Records created during
CSV import do not have thumbnail images or keywords
attached.
