Sorting Records
You can sort records in the active window to organize them
based on the fields you specify. The most recently applied
sort criteria will be applied to the collection the next time it
is opened. Portfolios can be saved in sorted order.
To sort records:
1. Choose Sort from the Selection menu or click the Sort
button in the Toolbar.
If your collection is in Text List View, you can also
click the Sort icon in any column head.
2. Select a field in the Fields list.
3. Select whether you want the selected field to be sorted
in ascending or descending order.
4. Click Add to add the field to the Sort By list.
5. Repeat the steps 2-4 until you have selected all the
desired fields.
6. Arrange fields in the Sort By list in the order that you
want records sorted.
7. Click OK.
