Using the and/or search operators
When you do an advanced search with multiple lines of
search criteria, you can select And or Or as the search
operator for each line. ImageAXS treats multiple lines of
search criteria like a mathematical expression.
For example, if you had the following lines of
search criteria:
Title is equal to beach
and Photographer is equal to Ansel Adams
or Title is equal to Yosemite
and Type is equal to Black & White
The criteria would be searched in the following
way:
[(Title is equal to beach and Photographer is equal to Ansel
Adams) or Title is equal to Yosemite] and Type is equal to
Black & White.
The search would find:
• All images that have been assigned the title: beach, that
were taken by Ansel Adams, and that are Black &
White.
• All images that have been assigned the title: Yosemite
and that are Black & White.
