Inserting Macros
You can select macros to insert in the Title, Header, and Footer
text boxes by clicking their right arrows. Use macros when
you want information to automatically be inserted.
%C (Collection Name)
Inserts the name of the collection. For example, if
you entered the string “%C Collection Report” in
the Title entry box, and printed a report for the
sample collection, the title “Sample Collection
Report” would appear as the title of each page.
%P (Page Number)
Inserts the current page number.
•%N (First Record #)
Inserts the number of the first record appearing on
the current page.
%n (Last Record #)
Inserts the number of the last record appearing on
the current page.
Title
The text and macros you enter in this box appear as a title at
the top center of each page of your report. Use macros to
automatically enter record and page numbers or the name
of the collection in your report’s title.
Header
The text and macros you enter in this box appear as a
header at either the right or left of the pages in your report.
Select an alignment option by clicking the right arrow.
