Exporting to Other Versions of ImageAXS

To export records to the ImageAXS Exchange
(AXE) file format:
1. Select the data records that you want to export.
2. In the File menu, highlight Export, then select
ImageAXS Exchange File from the submenu that appears.
A file dialog box appears.
3. Enter a file name ending with the “.axe” extension, and
choose a location for saving the export file.
4. Select Include Source Files if you want your source files
to be part of the export file.
If source files are included, the file will be
significantly larger, but it can be imported into
ImageAXS for Macintosh as a fully functional
collection without having to reassociate data
records with source files. (If the file is imported into
ImageAXS for Windows, data records will still have
to be reassociated with source files, even if source
files were included.)
5. Click OK.
ImageAXS exports the selected records in the
ImageAXS Exchange file format.
