INSTRUMENT OPTIONS

Your instrument may be equipped with one or
more instrument options . A brief description of each option
is given in the
following discussion .
Conversion kits, for most options, are available and can
be installed at a later time . For further information on
instrument
options, see your Tektronix Catalog or contact
your Tektronix Field Office .
OPTION 2
This option provides an X-Y display feature . Horizontal (X)
and vertical (Y) deflection signals are applied to the inputs of
either a dual-trace amplifier or two single amplifier units ;
the horizontal signal is then routed through the amplifier and
main-
frame trigger paths to the Option 2 instrument . A push-button
control (DISPLAY MODE) is provided on the Option
2
instrument front panel to select either normal sweep or
X-Y display .
