Lubrication
In
most
cases,
factory
lubrication
should
be
adequate
for
the
life
of
the
instrument
.
However,
if
the
switch has
been
disassembled
for
replacement
of
switch
sub-parts,
a
lubrica-
tion
kit
containing
the
necessary
lubricating
materials
and
instructions
is
available
through
any

SEMICONDUCTOR
CHECKS
Periodic
checks
of
the
semiconductors
in this
instrument
are
not
recommended
.
The
best
check
of
semiconductor
performance
is
actual
operation
in
the
instrument
.
More
details
on
checking
semiconductor
operation
are
given
under
Troubleshooting

ADJUSTMENT
AFTER
REPAIR
After
any
electrical
component
has
been
replaced,
the ad-
justment
of
that
particular
circuit
should
be
checked,
as
well
as
the
adjustment
of
other
closely
related
circuits
.
The
Performance
Check
and
Adjustment
procedure
in this
manual
provides
a
quick
and
convenient
means
of
checking
instrument operation
.
In
some
cases,
minor
troubles
may
be
revealed or
corrected
by adjustment
.
