A Note on Using Joints (Cable Extenders)
Joints or cable extenders should be used with care, as some models do not have electrically
connected shielding, and using these might cause problems in areas with interference.
Total cable length, including the joint, may not exceed the above maximal cable length per node.
Note: We have tested the above cables with only one joint per line. More joints can possibly be
used, but this scenario has not been tested.
