Style Editor
The Style editor provides features for editing
Patterns and Parts. Click the Edit Style button in
the Navigator section to access the Style editor.
There are two main sections:
Edit Section Displays the Instrument hits of the
currently selected Part as horizontally ordered
events. Like a MIDI editor, you can change,
move, and add events to alter or create your
own Patterns.
Pattern Display Displays the entire Pattern and
the rhythmic structure of its events as diamonds
in vertically stacked lines, one for each Instru-
ment. Clicking a line selects that Instrument’s
Part for editing, showing the individual events
in the Edit section.
