Cannot control any Orange Vocoder parameters with my MIDI controller.
This is a known limitation in version 1.0 of Orange Vocoder RTAS. This is addressed in version 2.0 which is available
as a download from our web site.
Note: The authorization for Orange Vocoder 2.0 requires ilok authorization to run. Please contact Customer Service
if you need to upgrade from a floppy authorized version to ilok.

No communication between Motor Mix (or HUI) and OMS when using a MIDIman MIDIsport USB
interface.
Make sure OMS was installed first, then the MIDIsport drivers. Sometimes communication will not occur even if this
has been done properly, and it may then be necessary to trash all OMS and MIDIsport components, and reinstall in
the proper order.
It is widely held that the best alternative is to use an older, Mac serial format MIDI interface on a Gport or Stealth
Port, which does not require USB drivers.

There does not seem to be communication between my Motor Mix and Pro Tools. Motor Mix LCD reads
"Motor Mix (tm) is ready for a session", though a Pro Tools session has already been launched.
Motor Mix is probably operating in Standard Mode. Simultaneously press the ESCAPE and PLAY keys to toggle back
to Pro Tools Mode.

My Motor Mix is not communicating with Pro Tools; Motor Mix responds to movement of the Pro Tools
faders, but Pro Tools faders will not respond to movements of Motor Mix faders. A communication error
message keeps appearing in Pro Tools.
Make sure Motor Mix is selected as an input device in Pro Tools: MIDI menu > Input Devices. This may also be
caused by a faulty MIDI cable or port. Make sure both the in and out MIDI ports are being employed, both on the
Motor Mix end and the MIDI interface end. Try using different MIDI cables and switching to different ports on your
MIDI interface. Ultimately it may be necessary to create a new OMS Studio Setup to regain normal communication.

How do I set up OMS to use Motor Mix if I AM NOT using a Mark of the Unicorn (MOTU) USB MIDI
interface?
1. OMS should be installed first, and the computer restarted.
2. Install any driver software that was packaged with your MIDI interface, the restart your computer again.
3. Launch OMS Setup, or choose OMS Studio Setup from the Setups menu in Pro Tools. Click OK when the first
window appears.
4. In the next window, select the port(s) that your MIDI interface(s) are attached to. If you are using a USB
equipped computer without a Modem or Printer port and/or if you are using the Digi 001 MIDI ports, leave these
boxes unchecked.
5. The next window should list your MIDI interface(s). Click OK.
