Is the ATTO/Digi SCSI 64 kit approved for the PC.

following, Adaptec 2940UW PCI card with Bios 1.3x or higher, Adaptec 3940UW PCI card with Bios 1.3x or higher,
or the Integrated Adaptec AIC-78xx chipsets with Bios 1.3x or higher. The 1.3 Bios update is included on the Pro

Is NTFS a supported file system?
Yes, you can use NTFS for your system and audio drives. There are some issues with copy protection and selecting
NTFS for your system volume. After adding or updating software using Pace copy protection you may need to
confirm your authorizations for Pro Tools and any plug-ins that are Pace copy protected. It is for these reasons that
FAT 32 is the recommended file system.

Why do I keep getting a DAE -87 error when playing back audio.
Check your disk allocation under the setups menu and confirm that you have selected a valid SCSI audio drive. You
may be attempting to use your systems ATA drive to record and playback 24bit audio.

Can I use third party apps Like Acid or Sound Forge with my Digi hardware?
Yes. The Digidesign d24/MIX Wave Driver is a 2-channel, multimedia wave driver for Digidesign's Pro Tools d24 and
Pro Tools 24 MIX cards. This wave driver allows third-party audio applications to utilize Digidesign hardware for 2-
channel recording and/or playback. The driver is also required for auditioning audio files in the SampleCell Editor
when Pro Tools hardware is used in conjunction with SampleCell.

How do I move sessions between Mac and PC?
To enforce MAC/PC compatibility WAV is now available on
both MAC and Windows versions of Pro Tools.
Mac users need to burn a CD in Joliet format or used a
shared network drive to go from Mac to PC.
Macs can read the PC formatted Disks and CD's.
Previously the solution was to use Mac Opener by DataViz. Mac Opener will allow you to mount HFS (Mac) volumes
and read Pro Tools session documents and audio files. You can work directly on the Mac volume or convert and save
the session to FAT or NTFS volumes.
