After installing or upgrading OS X onto a drive that also contains OS 9.x, all of my Pace authorized plug-
ins are no longer authorized.
This is a known issue that Digidesign and Pace have seen on some, but not all machines. Installing OS X (or
upgrading to a later version of OS X) on the same computer that you run OS 9.x with Pro Tools can cause serious
file corruption and permanent damage to Pro Tools-related authorizations.
Digidesign recommends that you remove all of your Pace floppy authorizations from the hard drive before installing
any flavor of OS X onto that same drive. Once the OS X installation has been completed, reboot back into OS 9.x
and reinstall the Pace floppy authorizations.
If you have already installed OS X and are experiencing problems with your floppy based authorizations, please
contact Digidesign technical support via phone for possible workarounds.
