The configuration of VoiceGATE Gateway FXO is very
simple, as it can be setup via Browser, Telnet or
through the serial port.
VoiceGATE Gateway FXO can operate in Gatekeeper
mode, that is registering to a Gatekeeper as a
gateway, or in direct mode with the Address Book
functionality present on the Ethernet and ADSL
versions of VoiceGATE.
It can also operate connecting to the Telecom
Operator line; so you will be able to make long
distance calls, paying for a local call.
Another typical application is the one of the new
Telecom Operators that offer international services at
very competitive prices thanks to the VoIP technology.
It is possible to carry out a Line to Line application
connecting the local lines of two countries. By calling
a certain number in a country, a VoIP call will activate
and the telephone line will be engaged in the other
country; at this point you must only select the number
to be called in that country.

“on hold” and the greeting message functions
when operating in Gatekeeper mode,
replacing a traditional PABX in any application.
