2.4 Digi Wi-Point 3G Hardware Setup

1. Connect Digi Wi-Point 3G to your computer using one of the two specified methods:

I. Connect using Wi-Fi:

a. Enable the Wi-Fi interface in your laptop or PC

b. Scan for Wi-Fi networks and connect to DIGIWIPOINT3G

c. SSID: DIGIWIPOINT3G

Note:

Be sure that the encryption on the Digi Wi-Point 3G is disabled when connecting.

II. Connect using Ethernet cable or a hub

2. Configure the Digi Wi-Point 3G:

III. Open your web browser to http://192.168.1.1

. The Digi Wi-Point 3G

IV. Enter the username/password (default is root/dbps), and click OK. The

home web page should appear.
